Day 4 of the Sasol Live the Impossible Tournament continued to be filled with excitement and thrill as the teams battled it out on the court. The first match saw the South African Senior Men’s team continue to show their dominance against the South African U23 team beating them 49-29. Shane Williams shone once again, earning another Man of the Match award for his exceptional performance on the field. His leadership and skill were important in securing the victory, marking another memorable day in the tournament.
The nail-biting second match between Kuwait and the South African Men’s team saw the hosting team taking it home with a 68-58 win and Sibonelo Mazibuko of the South African Men team securing a Man of the Match title. With this win, the Senior Men’s team solidifies their position in the tournament, showcasing their experience and strength against their counterparts.
“The team’s performance today was nothing short of spectacular, their dedication and talent continue to inspire other aspiring players. We are proud and hope that they continue to maintain the momentum in their last matches on Friday,” said Sasol Group Brand and Sponsorships Manager, Dean Somerset.
The excitement and competition continue to build as the Sasol Live the Impossible Tournament progresses. Day 5 and the final day of the tournament will start at 13:00 with the Mandeville Eagles battling it out with the SA U23 team.
