Sasol Banyana Banyana concluded their second international friendly against Algeria with a confident 2–0 victory at King Zwelithini Stadium, delivering a performance that matched the electric atmosphere in the stands.
The second leg drew an energetic crowd, with fans of all ages creating a vibrant and memorable setting. The team responded with attacking intent and flair, rewarding supporters with an impressive display.
Ntabiseng Majiya opened the scoring in the 58th minute, sparking celebrations across the stadium with her second goal of the friendly series. Shakiera O’Malley added the second in the 90th minute to seal a well-deserved win.


Head Coach Desiree Ellis praised the team’s performance, noting their improved tempo, quality on the ball and ability to create chances while keeping a clean sheet. She also acknowledged the support of the technical team and highlighted the squad’s progress despite varying levels of match fitness among players.
The match marked a special milestone for Karabo Dhlamini, who earned her 50th cap. She expressed gratitude for the journey, acknowledging the challenges she has overcome with the support of her teammates and coaches.
