Sasol in Mozambique supported the sports delegation from Inhambane province that participated in the 15th National School Games Festival 2024 edition held from 06 to 16 May 2024 in Nampula.
Sasol’s support to the Inhambane team included sports equipment and material like balls, whistles, and uniforms among others. The support was considered to be fundamental by the coaches and athletes.
For Sasol, this gesture is a clear demonstration of its commitment to support the Government of Mozambique’s human development objective and is in line with Sasol’s strategic business objectives of promoting its brand through inspiring creativity and innovation, as well as creating unique opportunities to strengthen cultural and sporting activities.
Since 2003, Sasol has been the official sponsor of the Inhambane Provincial Delegation to the School Sports Games, and this year was no exception.
In April and May this year, Sasol donated a variety of football equipment to the teams playing in the recreational championships in Inhassoro and Govuro.
