Sasol proudly congratulates Banyana Banyana on securing their place at the 2026 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) after a hard-fought 2-1 aggregate victory over the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The South African senior women’s national football team demonstrated resilience and determination across both legs of the qualifier, showcasing the spirit and excellence that has become synonymous with Sasol Banyana Banyana. Their qualification marks another milestone in what was a momentous period for the team and women’s football in South Africa.
A few days ago, Sasol and the South African Football Association (SAFA) renewed one of South Africa’s most iconic and longstanding sponsorships with Banyana Banyana for a further four (4) year period, extending the partnership until 2029.
