The third day of the Sasol League Championship was nothing short of thrilling, with a rush of goals lighting up the pitch. Ramatlaohle FC from Limpopo secured their spot in the semi-final with a hard-fought 3-1 victory over Gauteng’s FC Raycon Ladies, sending their opponents home.
In the second match, the University of Cape Town showcased their scoring strength by overwhelming the Eastern Cape-based team Sophakama FC in a stunning 6-0 win. To conclude the day, Kovsie FC from the Free State took on the Northern Cape’s Royal Wizards and claimed a solid 3-0 victory, securing their place in the semi-final.
The semi-final line-up promises a clash of the titans, as the two university teams, the University of Cape Town and Kovsie, are set to face off. Meanwhile, KZN based Ezemvelo FC will go head-to-head with Ramatlaohle in what’s expected to be another thrilling encounter.
